Protecting Intellectual Property (IP)
Rights of Customers
TEXworld understands the value of Intellectual Property
and gives utmost respect and care to your IP. Safeguarding
intellectual property is imbibed as part of our culture
and the efforts we take are not limited to the following.
Contractual Safeguard
- TEXworld will execute an NDA (Non-Disclosure
Agreement) with the customer, undertaking that all
information received and deemed to be confidential
will be maintained in confidence.
- TEXworld will further execute similar
NDAs with each of its employees who are involved in
projects for the customer
- TEXworld will issue an explicit
undertaking that it will not reverse engineer any
of the customer's products
- The customer and TEXworld shall mutually
indemnify each other against breach of any third party
IP in the course of conducting work under the proposed
agreement.
- The customer may ask TEXworld to
be responsible for safe-keeping of all equipment on
loan to TEXworld, without creation of ownership in
any form and without any encumbrances. It may further
ask that such machines be labeled as its property
and not be shifted from the intended facility to any
other location without prior consent.
Making it Part of Culture
TEXworld promotes an internal culture where every individual
is aware of and respects the IP rights of customers.
This is accomplished through a well articulated IP policy,
Awareness programs to educate employees on IP issues
and by incorporating IP sessions as part of induction
programs.
Information Security Practices
Consistent with the policies outlined above, TEXworld
has put in place a set of clearly defined information
security practices to provide control and safety. Given
below are the examples of such practices:
- Subject to agreed minimum levels
of business, TEXworld can arrange for physically isolated
and secure space for executing projects.
- TEXworld has instituted access control,
visitor log posting of security personnel in its development
facilities.
- TEXworld has instituted a movement
control log for all equipment and media.
- TEXworld has well-established processes
for backup and other MIS safeguards.
