TEXworld carries out single and multidisciplinary applied
research initiatives in the areas aligned with its vision.
We nurture symbiotic research initiatives and engagements
with educational institutes, private research agencies
and universities in India. The areas in which research
is undertaken include:
- Asset Based Development
- Software Development
- Technology Transition
- User Experience
TEXworld employs asset based development approach
for complex software development and product development.
The focus is to identify reusable business patterns,
develop and reuse a set of common assets across a product
or its product line.
We adopt appropriate software development frameworks
such as Unified Process or MSF depending on the nature
of the undertaking. We also make use of appropriate
methodology such as eXtreme Programming (XP), RAD as
suitable for the task in hand.
Technology Transition Practice focuses on creating
and maturing software, introducing it to the intended
users and facilitating its acceptance and widespread
use. TEXworld explores and identifies potential collaborators
and change agents for the transition. Collaborators
help in maturing the software by participating in several
beta programs. The software then reaches out to all
intended users and we disengage after the transition
has become self sustaining.
User Experience competence center runs a usability
and creativity lab. This lab works to identify the means
to improve and enrich human computer interaction for
our product and solutions. They also work to identify
and develop a bank of reusable expression patterns.
